I apologoze if anyone was offended with the all caps post just shouting to get some quick attention this problem is frustrating. I know it is over heating because it pushes the coolant back up the reservior and alot of steam coming from the radiator cap.
Am about to change the radiator cap to either a 13 or 16 psi.
I am running a electric fan that comes on with the ignition key with no shroud it is mounted slightley to the right side of radiator.
Its is a new radiator and the system has been flushed several times already

Thanks Mr. Pink
for the tips and wil check to see if your recommendations help

It would help if you had the shroud on the radiator.

No worries man.

Okay, so just to clarify, you're running a single fan?

I think the radiator cap might be a problem it came with the radiator it is only a 1.1 psi which i am going to change.

do you recommend using a 13 or 16psi radiator cap

Tell you my overheating story.
My radiator developed at leak so I replaced it with a 3 core aluminum radiator with 3 electric fans. New Water Pump and thermostat.

Over heated from day one. Tried different thermostats, no thermostat. Retired the fans so that all 3 ran all the time. Still overheated on a gentle slope. Stupid Aluminum radiator started leaking.

Replaced radiator with a stock unit. Replaced the fans with stock mechanical and electric.

Haven't even come close to overheating on the freeway, crawling in Moab. No problem.

I guess my mechanic buddy was correct. Jeep spent millions on engineering our Jeeps why do we think we know better!

I am trying to replace my passenger side tail light (99 xj) and am finding that fitting the bottom tab is being a real pain. Is there a trick to this? I am thinking about removing some of the tab just to slip it in.

Exactly what I was thinking. If it's good enough for you, it's good enough for me.

first time I took the housing off to change bulbs I was having a hard time getting the stupid tab to go in so I kicked the tail light, tab fell off and perfect ever since.
