Also has anyone ever seen anyone do a carbon fiber fabric headliner replacement? Or done any carbon fiber fabric work on an interior?

Might be able to swap relays? Or are the turn signals controlled/powered directly from the ECU? Sometimes computers try to be too smart for their own good.
Does anyone know where I can find a plug and play "T" harness for the tail lights of my 2015 Cherokee that allows me to have rear lights when I tow the jeep behind my camper? I have the factory tow package. The tow bar packages all want me to cut the wires to install the diodes. Surely someone makes a kit that doesn't require wire cutting. Thanks.

Basically only lifetime operation at that point. Might be able to swap relays? Or are the turn signals controlled/powered directly from the ECU? Sometimes computers try to be too smart for their own good. Might want to check/contact e-trailer.com Also this section is for the '01 and previous generations of Cherokees(XJ's not KL's). I believe there is another section for the KL's that might have more helpful people there.

didn't work, tried it and it did the exact same thing as the rest. Went to the auto parts store and got one that actually works just now, but here's a new problem. When I turn the lights on, both of the turn signal arrows dimly light up, and this causes the front side markers to be dimly lit.
Also, when I hit the brakes the turn signals, and interior dash/gauge lights light up.

Edit: When I swapped my Putco harness I didn't at first have a good ground and the interior indicators would light up, or stay lit or not flash until I fixed the ground.

i have a small leak at the fuel pump on my 96. it's not dripping on the floor but just enough so it's wet around the ring
my mechanic told me it's related to a faulty fuel pump, and that he needs to change it, but I'm a bit skeptical. is it possible the fuel pump causes a leak or it's more likely only the o-ring?

Are the side markers still incandescent bulbs? On mine('99) the side marker and the front turn signal alternately flash for turn signals. Was yours operating the same way originally? Might be something feeding the other, weird grounding issue or perhaps the new relays were bad out of the box? It was the ground on the Putco harness. I didn't scrape away enough paint. I used the bolt that is right behind the turn signal. You could try adding a temporary ground to the headlight circuit with jumper cables, alligator clips or having someone hold some wire on it to see if it helps? That's all I can think of ATM.

What brand of carbon fiber vinyl wrap did you use?
Steve what brand did you use?
I am also thinking about getting a roll of actual pre-preg carbon fiber for the headline specifically. and doing the vacuum bag and cure.
I looking for anyone that has tried it, I think am going to probably just get a donor headliner for practice; from FN Jeep here in the CO Springs and see how it goes.
After all the headliner itself is fiberglass remove the old foam adhesive and cloth and then bond the carbon fiber to the fiber glass should be pretty strong and look good if done right.
your wrap looks awesome man i just want to do the headliner and bezels as accents. but you went all out, that looks awesome.

Headliner.
^ That sounds expensive. Being impermeable it could present moisture issues due to trapped condensation. Also, a hard surface will rebound more road noise and make the cabin louder.
Ordered the carbon vinyl from Heads-Up. I believe it can be found at Jeanett's fabric also. I used it because vinyl is more durable than cloth.

The heads up liner was what I was originally looking at, looks to be a pretty decent price. But all the pictures Ive seen online are pretty poor by all retailers. your pics are the best I've seen.
A roll of pre-preg carbon fiber that would cover the headliner is about $110. So there isn't really a reason for me to not want to go with that material based on price. Although it does require some skill and equipment, the equipment needed is access to vacuum pumps and be able to cure it at 310 degrees so that is a limiting factor. I'd have to figure that out.
I think I would insulate the roof with dynamat the roof behind the liner to keep the sound down so that is not an issue.
Moisture isn't really an issue for me here in Colorado.
There is clearly a lack of this product being used, or information from DIYer's, so it leads me to a couple of questions about is it worth it or not?
Any suggestions on which forum to start a thread about this topic?
Can anyone else think of a cons to making an attempt at this??

Hard shell headliner
Don't get me wrong, I like the idea. I help make surfboards in vacuum bags and use a wet resin, it cures at lower temperatures. A concern may be warping the headliner when bagging it.
