I got the harbor freight pneumatic brake bleeder and it was the easiest, best bleed I've gotten out of my brakes.

First of all I want to say a big THANK YOU to everyone for all of their help and advice, I have not gotten to fix the problem with the over heating as yet due to work related issues. (transferred to another island.)
Question I was talking to a friend who said that to make sure you have the correct cylinder head which can cause over heating also so I spoke with a company called odessa cylinder head in florida who asked me for the casting number on the cylinder head which I gived them and come to find out it was not the original cylinder that was on the jeep, which I made known to them. after giving them the casting number of the original cylinder head they recommend me changing it cause because the intake is different can this also cause over heating issues and should I change the cylinder head.

Check and make sure your bolts are tight for your upper and lower control arm mounts on the frame side. Also, inspect the "frame" for cracks. When you corner, the cracks will separate and butt back together and also move past each other - which can cause a popping sound. Also, check your upper shock bolt - even though it's not "under" your foot, the vibration could translate down through the frame. Happened to me when my shock stripped and completely lost the nut. I would go over a bump and "POP" which was essentially the shock finding its home back in the upper shock mount.

inline 6 stock system has 1 mechanical fan and 1 electric fan. So you need two fans at minimum for the system to function properly. The reason I say "at minimum" is because there are those that have a triple fan setup that is also functional - albeit, arguably overkill, but the point is, ONE fan on an inline 6 setup will not work.

AW4 transmission question
I have a 1999 sport with the 4.0l and AW4 trans w/ 242 tcase. When at road speed and no throttle tach shows engine at idle. Downshift to third and it still shows idle RPM's. It shifts normally when accelerating, and will slow down by engine retarding in 1st & 2nd. Is this normal operation or does it need shift solenoids?

[QUOTE=cruiser54;3259371]What year do you have and what's the casting number?
I have a 95 xj CN # 2686 I was told by odessa in Florida that I need a # 7120(different intake) which was on the original cylinderhead. It was a bit of a mix up because the original owner had replace the cylinderhead. I found out the correct year of the jeep after I checked the VIN #

2686 and 7120 are identical except for the intake port configuration and can be used interchangeably with the correct gasket. Always use the gasket for the intake manifold you're using so there will be no vacuum leaks.
Someone has sent you on a wild goose chase on heads. That is not the issue!!!!!
