Default If you could do it all over again how would you do it?

Probably not the right place for this question but, I'm trying to prioritize, the way I want to build my xj, and am interested to see what opinions any of the experienced guys on the thread here would have.

Does anyone have a particular order you would go in for starting your build?


i.e. brakes> body> interior> engine> exhaust> drive train> axles > tires> electrical.


For example one of my co-workers has said keep it running as long as you can before doing anything that will make it be a giant paperweight in your garage.

Thoughts?

The typical method is to lift it, then install bigger tires, then make it safe with better brakes and proper handling.

The reality is better brakes and steering should be done before or with everything else

I changed my oil for the first time since I owned my xj. I put in vqlvoline high mileage 10W-30 and my oil pressure is about 10 psi higher on startup, is that a problem?

10psi jump is common when replacing a clogged filter. What kind was on there before, and what now?

It had a pretty crappy compact "mile guard" filter before from when the previous owner took it to jiffy lube, I replaced it with a fairly beefy wix filter so that probably explains it.

What's the difference between these two cruise control servos? They look slightly Different. I went to the JY to get one for my 1993 jeep and found both of these on pre 97 XJs so I not sure which one I need. Are they the same? Or different?

Bottom one looks like the ones in the 97 and up cherokees
