yeah I ment map sensor and both. It died on me 4 times Saturday and I just have to shut it off and turn it back on and its fine for a few minutes. if I hold speed like idleing it dies and if I leave it running without driving it takes about 15 minutes to die

Replaced the MAP yesterday.

Edit: no codes except for the NSS bypass at this time.

Edit 2: Would a bad coil throw codes? It's so weird it only does it at low throttles, NEW TPS, NEW MAP, fuel pump must be good, has new fresh gas, new spark plugs, transmission shifts smoothly under acceleration, having the NSS bypassed shouldn't mess up anything like this right? It's only between 0-22ish% throttle.

RC if this is a vehicle that you want to chronicle the history you may want to check out some of the build threads, and see how some the guys over there started out with issues, and worked out the kinks and got a good build running.

Don't hesitate to use the search function too, once you get the hang of using search some of the routine questions can help you find the real hard stuff. I have found that searching this thread the tires and suspension thread and the walk thoughts forum have all been helpful.

I spend probably a third of every weekday either searching or reading build threads.(My wife complains about it...a lot) I have a few of my own build threads as well. Salad, cruiser, xjwonders, clown and a few others are experts I've grown to trust just based on this thread and this is the fastest place I can think of to pick their brains. I really don't have any other hobbies so either researching Jeep related things or fixing my own Jeep related things is pretty much all I do in my spare time. I don't want to "hog" the thread either so I'll go away if you guys want me to. I always default to googling, then googling this site specifically then sometimes browsing the FSM and then posting if I can't find anything specific or I can't figure out my own problem.

I appreciate the kind words, but I learned a lot of what I know the same way. I have well over 10k hours of research and reading about Jeeps, suspension design, etc. I enjoy it, and I like learning. Anybody can get to where I am with patience and interest

Any other opinions on the impact wrench vs. breaker when attacking exhaust manifold bolts? Also, can anyone recommend anything else I should replace while the exhaust and intake are off? Replacing the CPS while I'm in there.

Agreed and like I said it works well enough but it could be better to have the tripple fan setup and do away with the mechanical one in my opinion the more air you can move the better
