Anyone know the approximate metal thickness of the factory tank skids from 96- ? Gonna try to go get some scrap metal today and rework this pre 96 to my 01.

Well it was damn near as much my fault for not watching or inspecting or just doing it myself but I'm done with those fools.

whenever I pull someone I will use my strap attached to a strap with no hooks on their vehicle or just their strap and I check out the strap before I pull. I went to pull someone out one night and he was in the mud and I didn't feel like getting dirt, so I said grab the strap and hook it up. The guy wrapped it around his a arm which was a stamped piece of metal so it had an edge that cut through the strap and then he was too much of a bum to buy me a new strap and had his girlfriend offer to give me one of hers. Now I have a tow strap I use with my mowers and small toys and got a new strap for my jeep.

Dear friends,

I changed the radiator cap today but my problem was resolved
I shot a video for you, about 3-4 degree temperature is rising at idle,3:30 minutes in the electric fan is activated(temp 102C-103C) and 4.53 minutes in the electric fan is stop.(101C)

Why do you think the heat is rising idling ?

I think a little old but it works properly fan shroud, I cracked the top side bands.

Anyone have a guess? I'm learning to weld on this little project. I'd like to know what I'm looking for at the metal place.

When I put my 2000 in drive or reverse there is a hard jolt coming from the transmission, is it a bad tranny mount?

that or bad motor mounts. Better to replace both at the same time.

I checked the motor mounts and they looked alright, if it is the tranny mount should I still do the motor ones too?

hey may look ok but when you pull them out, they are usually cracked. How many mile are on it, those the originally motor mounts?
