usually swapping columns between years isn't possible if they are too far apart. Need more information to say.

hi. i my jeeps ecm is busted. the part no. is P56041 252 but i cant find one on the net. only ones with a different last three digits. if i get an ecm that says 56041 251 thats also for a 4.0 litre unleaded automatic like mine, is there any reason why the 251 wont work? also mine is r/h drive because i live in Nmabia Africa. will a l/h drives ecm be the same? i need this help urgently because the ebay sale is closing soon.

Those part #s are close enough that I'm pretty confident it will work as long as the engine/transmission/fuel/year are the same. LHD and RHD ecm is the same.

no

i don't think the dodge 8.25 has the same gear divisions, so that will be a major issue

also different bolt pattern and wider

if you can do ssome weldings get a ford 8.8 axle from a 96+ explorer. Will get you 4.10 gears. Limit slip diff, disc brakees. There is some work in the conversion but i hear its worth it. Also depends if you could get your hands on one

Hey guys, putting a new wheel bearing in my 00 XJ today and I was wondering what size the axle nut is? Not the thread size and pitch, just the size socket i'll need.

mmm fun stuff. I advise an impact wrench or a big breaker bar.

36mm is the socket size.
