no they will not. Exhaust ports are different and routing is different.

You need a header from a 84-91 XJ

I am looking for a light 15" wheels for the jeep chrokee XJ, (I need the lightest). what do you guys suggest?

The aluminum wheels from the sport models are probably the lightest, but they vary in weight. Generally the lightest aluminum wheels are the ones with the least material making them up.

Why do you ask?

although DUKIE pretty much answered this for you. The fastest and easiest way to diagnose your problem is to sit in your rig. Turn key to 1, depress brake pedal and cycle your gears down to 12 back to neutral then try to start your rig. If she starts your NSS is going or dirty. Welcome too the world of cherokee

..Orrrr you could do what I did, spend $15 on some heavy gauge wire, a momentary switch, and an inline fuse.. It was just the best choice I had with no garage, -10 degree temps outside, and very little time to fix it. Eventually, I found a great place to mount my push button. Now, I just need the key turned to "on" and hold the button down until it starts.

I have a 98 Cherokee and assuming my current alternator is stock or similar to stock power rating, does it give out enough amps to power an aftermarket stereo/speaker system, a small single sub, and rarely used offroad lights/fog lights? Oh and I have a die hard battery rated at 695 cranking amps.

HEY DUKIE, 87 xj 4.0l auto laredo... when i engage cruise control it accelerates me about 10mph then levels out and after a few seconds will accelerate again... i know its a vacuum leak most likely but im not sure where to start... any info will b helpful thx

The stock alternator is a 90amp model. Once you start adding high power accessories it quickly becomes insufficient. I have a aftermarket head unit and speakers and fog lights as well. My voltage gauge gets pretty low on the scale when I have my headlights, stereo, fog lights, wipers, and blower fan on when it's raining. Add a sub and amp to the mix and you're going to have issues.

Best idea is to upgrade the alternator, wiring, and battery.

The alternator out of a ZJ Grand Cherokee is good for 136A and requires minimal modifications to install, or you could spend more money and get a Mean Green alternator or other high power model. Note that you MUST upgrade the wire size from the alternator to the battery when you do this mod.

For the battery spend the cash on a Optima Yellow Top. It's a deep cycle battery it'll hold all the power you need for most anything.

If you're not having any other vacuum related issues (surging, high idle, etc) with the cruise off, if there is a leak it has to be between the cruise servo motor and the vacuum canister.

If there's no vacuum leak, you're probably looking at a bad servo.

Unfortunately this is one of those hard systems to test. Good luck

So you bypassed the NSS? who says u need a Lexus to have a push button start hahah

Ok so today I bought a fuel filter since ive never changed it. I come home to install it and I can't seem to find it. Anyone know where it's at exactly? I looked all over the engine bay and can't seem to find it. That's usually where they are.
