Look up code check in search bar. It involves a sequence of turning your key on and off. I believe in a 2000 you might need to press your trip odometer button aswell.

On mine (96) I loosened the bolt dead center of the pulley. Then on the top leftside slightly behind the pulley is another bolt. Turn that one and the pulley will move up or down. Once adjusted correctly , tighten center bolt again.

I can use some help, guys. I feel like I'm loosing my mind over here.
I've been flushing my system for what feels like ages, at least over two weeks. I've installed a flush kit which i have ran countless times, gone through five quarts of cleaner, and pushed through i guess about a hundred gallons of water. Hell, I even attached a cut up hose to the inlet at the water pump and blown on the engine trying to get stuff out (people talk about loving their vehicles, how many of them went down on them? lol). I've replaced the thermostat and housing, and currently have it soaking with two quarts of cleaner. the only thing I didnt do is soak the engine in CLR, and that was because it lathered up so much.
Every time I flush, it's brown, and dirty. What do I have to do to get my system clean so I can put in the coolant that will stay nice and green? I've seen pictures of what the coolant should look like, and with the way mine keeps getting dirtied up, it can never look like that. Anybody, please give me some input, or advice, anything.

I doubt it, this looks more rusty and there isn't any kind of film on the top.
Here are some pictures, rusty brown. It looks more red in person.
