BTW awhile back I reapplied adhesive to the windshield trim in the along the top and along the drivers side, didn't notice anything right after that though,

Any suggestions where to start?
I believe there is a drain hole in your cowl.(right in front of your windshield, your wipers attach there.)sometimes it gets clogged. I believe it then over flows into your jeep. Try checking there.

Ok here's what I got. A 1987 Wagoneer Limited XJ its the first iteration of the EFI 4.0 I6 (the dreaded Renix!!). Mostly a very reliable engine. It starts everytime and runs like a champ....BUT....sometimes about a half an hour into a drive, especially if its stop and go and when its in the middle of a hot sout east texas day....She suddenly starts acting starved either for gas or air sputtering and then gives out completely un able to re started until youve waited about 10-15 min of downtime. Then she starts right back up again and you are good for at least another 20 minutes....what is this Ghost!! sound familliar to anyone? why does my engine seem starved or tired at those times!! the distributer has been done and the injectors have been cleaned.......cant figure this one out....i think it may be an electrical ghost to do with the renix control system

I think it's a two man job, if you want it to be easy. Have one of you push in on the axle, then the other should be able to see and then pull out the c-clip.
