you need to get 2" coil spacers and a coil compresion tool to pop them in. Also go to the JY and get a set of leaf springs from an xj or s10 and youll get your budget boost. You might i also need to get larger shocks too. Good luck

Hey Dukie, Im usually pretty good at diagnosing electronics but have you ever seen the TCU get hot? My 85 runs good till it gets driven a while then the transmission shifts down to 1st and doesn't want to upshift. All my wiring is 87, the TPS, NSS, and solenoids are new. But any time it happens the TCU gets hot. I've even switched the TCU out with a spare and the same thing happens. Any ideas??

I've got a 1990 Cherokee Sport, and it's been having some issues lately.
I can drive it like 4 or 5 miles and its fine, but if I take it out to town, it starts messing up. If I put my foot in on the clutch, the revs will drop down to nothing. I was told it was probably the IAC or O2 sensor. Well, I replaced the IAC, and it didnt do anything. I'm gonna change the O2 sensor tomorrow morning, but I unhooked the one that's in it, and the truck still runs the same as before. Any ideas as to if this is the problem?

ok i have a few things to ask.

FIRST: noticed my front end is leaking some kind of fluid. it seems to be coming out where the front drive shaft goes into the pumpkin.

SECOND: how much break fluid would i need to do a full flush and refill of my breaks?

THIRD: what is the volume of our coolant system. I need to flush and fill it. to save money im using full strength and cutting it with distilled water. But i need to know the full volume and stuff. also is there anything that can help me run cooler on the regular basis. like is 50/50 the most effective mixture for cooling purposes? (i already plan modding my fans to run whenever the key is on and adding hood vents)

FOURTH: my tail pipe is still smoking like a champ. Idk what the heck is causing it cause my oil and coolant seem to be staying the same.... WTF! oh and its white smoke. mainly at idle.

The fluid you're leaking is most likely gear oil from your front differential (the pumpkin).

As far as the coolant goes, I believe it holds 2 gallons. Could be more. But the 50/0 mixture if your best bet.
