i'm sorry if i bring up a already asked question.
my father-in-law has a dead 97 gmc 1500 burban, since it's going to crap : would i be able to use the fuel pump or any parts off it? if not, would a 97 cherokee fuel pump work on mine?

The majority of our sensors and parts are GM. I have an 85 and my fuel pump is a GM style pump. Just take the pump and compare it to yours.

I already took it out and put it back in once, so hopefully it wont give me too much trouble.

Thank you everyone for your help, this is a very useful forum!
