Dunno if its been asked before..what do yall do with the old shocks when you upgrade to a bigger lift? Like up grading from a 4in lift? Just trying to find shocks for a 3in lift that aint gonna brake me.

Are shock boots helpful?
Ive heard they can actually cause premature failure.

Try some pro comps. They're very affordable almost as much as stock replacements.

Pb blaster and very easy turn back and forth. Take your time. It will break loose. Just did this recently myself.

Shock boots hold water in them and that leads to rust. Bad rust if your in the salt belt
