hey im having trouble uploading pics to an album. i figure after a month its probably time to make one but it keeps saying wrong image file or something. ive tried downloading them from the computer and from a hosting site but have failed both times. idk if this matters but im on a mac

I just had some brake work done friday and tonight I noticed a burnt rubber smell coming from my drivers rear side wheel well. Any ideas?

Unfortunately without the motor being able to hold @ idle there is noo quick way. If u are sure its a vac line... u got to go through all of them. Inspect them closely. Ur jeep doesn't give a crap if u don't have time. U have to make the time to do it right and patiently. Sorry bro.what code # is being thrown?

Hey all, new xj owner here.
Just replaced head gasket, injectors, plugs. Jeep starts right up but is very choppy from 400-1500 rpm. It wants to idle low. Computer has been reset. Has great throttle response. After a throttle snap, the engine will bog down to about 250-400 then bounce back to almost 750 (warm or cold).
I'm thinking the IAC might be the culprit??? Or maybe another sensor??? I feel like i'm chasing my tail here. Bout ready to just get a whole new engine.
No codes yet...will have them read tonight.
Think I hit all the key points. Thanks for replies.

Best/Strongest Solution would be to replace the entire front axle with one from a later model 4x4 cherokee (91-99)

bogging down at idle is usually caused by the iac. You can also seafoam tthe system by following the link on my signature. I dont believe you need a new motor yet since it sounds like a sensor. Any if this is new to you if the map sensor looks original you can invest in that too. Congrats on the rig youll love it
Sea foam her yesterday... holy white smoke!!! I'm gonna check sensors here soon.. Let y'all know when I solve the problem.

Does your insurance policy include glass coverage? Call your agent and/or check your policy because you might not have to do anything besides calling the glass guy to make an appointment...
