do both of you have bigger than stock size tires? do both of you have a new speedo gear to compensate for them tires so that your odometer reads correctly? if not then you might be off on what your thinking your getting vise what your actually getting for MPGs. just a thought.

Rough running 89 Cherokee
I am very new to forums and am not sure that this is even the right way to get my question out so excuse me if it goofs up something.
I just had a new carbureter and cam sensor put in my 89 Cherokee Laredo to resolve a starting problem. It now starts and idles good but when I start driving it, it runs rough, especially when the engine is cold. Before I had the new carb put in it ran very smooth (when it started). The mechanic isn't too cooperative and is tired of seeing the old beast so I thought I'd check this forum for some ideas.

ignition problem????
ignition problem????
1994 jeep cherokee sport 4dr 6cyl,128,000 miles.
Every once and a while i try to crank the jeep and nothing happens, after turning the ignition several times it cranks.Today it did this to me again and on the third pull it cranked,so I went to my next location. When I came out and cranked it the ac and the radio are not working.I took it home to look at it thinking it was a fuse, but the fuses look fine. So I went to crank it again and accidently pulled the key back to acc.and the radio and ac both came on.When I go to crank it though the ac and radio wont work, any ideas???? please help me ! j.g.69@hotmail.com

hmm not sure about that never read that one before. but when the wifey gets home with her auto ill try and compare it to my manual. they are both 97+ models so they will be the same year range as yours, not that it changed any to my knowledge.

The AX-15 crossmember has a notch cut out for the tranny mount since it's taller than the AW-4. Works good as a drop crossmember for auto XJs (about 1/2-3/4"). Cannot go the other way around though since the tranny is too tall.

there you go with an answer. so if you need the cross member now and thats all you got i would just go with a drop bracket. you can go the other way just need to add that to compensate for the rise.
