Then take it for a drive...no, not in the mud (I know you want to). It helps if it's not rainy or wet out. After running it, leave it sit for about 1/2 hour then crawl underneath and check for visible signs of leakage. If you don't see anything, get yourself a strip of clean cardboard (like a disassembled box) and slide it under the engine. In the morning, check the cardboard for any signs of drippage. If you see none, crawl underneath for a visual.
Keep checking constantly from that point until you see where it's coming from...it should be fairly easy to see if you've cleaned your engine properly.
Cool thanks! I'll try that. Is there anything I should cover up first, cap/plugs/fuse box? I also noticed tonight the coolant resivoir looked low....I really hope it's not coolant leaking. It feels like oil and smells like it though.

Swapping out the front and rear diff fluids Saturday too and sealing them back up with new rvt. Those are seeping as well and probably were never done.

Nothing needs to capped or plugged. Just don't be spraying all over the place in case you were to knock a hose or connection off with a high-pressure stream...you want to concentrate on the block and covers mainly...water shouldn't hurt anything in the engine compartment.
Just be sure you get underneath and that it's very clean. I know your jeep hates being in that condition but it needs to be done.

What would you do? We have a grand cherokee right hand drive, before we had it off the forecourt it had issues, these were supposed to have been sorted, ha, bought in the April, unable to use because of these issues until September, then the following may 2011 we had a grinding noise from the front rack, so asked for the receipts of the previous year to make sure they had fixed this original problem, still no receipts, so now off the road, we still have 18 mths to pay off this vehicle, apart from setting fire to the vehicle, what would you do? thanks for reading

Which wheels are these and what vehicle did they come off of? I presume they are stock 15s for something out there...

I went to change the headlights on my 99 Cherokee today and noticed the screws holding them in were stripped already and rusted on. Any trick to get these out? I used a q-tip to put some pb blaster on them, hopefully this will loosen them up enough.

Yea I had problems getting mine out. Pb blast is the best way without cutting and buying new pieces. Let things soak in pb for a few days.
