How? What happens if you don't install them,( the pintels ) or only on half will my jeep run like crap or just blow up. I've never touched the injectors on any vehicle before so I want to make sure I get everything right.
Carb cleaner is ok. Use a small screwdriver to gently push one side of the o-ring over the edge. As far as i know the injectors are not serviceable internally, they are sealed. Put some engine oil on the o-rings when you reinstall them. If you mean the little plastic thingie that is at the lower end of some injectors (ie corvette) that's a diffuser to have a better fuel spray.

They will fit but look like pumpkins.. You may have some probs if you deflate on the trails. I run tubes in mine always.

X2.
They'll look like crap. Don't mount the rims until you can afford the correct tires too. Or buy them as a package, they're cheaper. JMO

X3 They will look crazy. I agree buy the rims and tires as a package even if you just by some used 31"'s to get you by.

Default PLOW for 2000 Jeep Cherokee Sport XJ

hello, i have a new house w/ a 400' driveway, gently sloping, no big hills, no obstructions, etc. i'm only plowing my driveway, not commercially. i've read discussions in which folks say the uni-body on the XJ won't take a plow, it'll blow-out rear windows, nightmare, run away, etc. i live in taxachusetts, so it's not as bad as my home state of maine. the jeep has been well maintained and i don't mind driving around w/ the plow attached, but one i can unload and attach easily would be even better. another option, i suppose, is to buy another rig, but i'd liek to avoid it. i have a rusty's offroad 2" lift shocks & 2" add-a-leafs and BF 30x9.5's. good brakes. QUESTIONS: any specific new/used mounts & plow models suggested? ave prices? could you buy an old 6'6" or 7' plow and rig it w/ mount/pump, or is better to buy a new package? i think my jeep will be around to 225k w/ the straight 6! thanks & cheers!

Hi and welcome to the forum. I don't know much about plows since i live near the ocean. But i know that the cherokee was available from the factory with a plow and it had no particular frame modification, except of a well built bracket behind the bumper.

You never really answered my question though is it pretty easy to do? Fairly inexpensive for me to do it myself?

Ok, it is quite easy to do. The most difficult part is to remove the pan that is literally glued to the tranny. I used a small jack sideways after kicking it in vain for an hour. The rest is easy. I don't know how much you pay for the fluid but i payed around 60$ fot the whole kit.

When i had low fluid engine would not go above a certain rpm. As well as making the tranny slip. This stoped imediately after adding fluid and capping a leak i found along one of the lines. So YES low tranny fluid can cause a lot of issues. It was also causeing mine to do the red light bit as well.

These are 235/75s on 8" rims, they dont look too bad, but I dont know how they would act when theyre aired down.

Nice maybe it just depends on the rims.
