i got a question i have 91 xj i have swapped in a 4.0 out of a 97-99 jeep wrangler i have it all put in i realized somethings had changed liike the distributor has a bigger shaft down the middle the rotor bug is a lil diff and my pick-up coil is a lil bigger but all plug ins work. i got it all together now when i go to start my alarm starts freaking out i found the alarm wires and did the shorting out thing like the site says and it turns over now but i have real week spark orange not blue i burnt up my fuel pump switchin parts and seeing but i can figure it out my 91 should be the H.O. and i dont see why this would not work is it my ecu or what really confussed never had a vehicle with that weak of spark usually i get no spark at all any help would be helpful. and also is my jeeps disributor and coil from the wrangler wouldnt it work on my jeep or did i not switch enough stuff out or if it could be the cps failing it is bran new and i have a rotor bug tha the end metal tab fell off and i have replaced it with another not brand new or anything but i figured it would spark a lil better still lost though and a bad battery would cause low spark on start up wouldnt i have come to my eend i am about to let a shop look at her but am affraid they will just make her "the jeep" feel unconfortable proading aroung and stuff to her

Okay so I have a question. My 1988 Cherokee has 203,058 miles on the 4.0 Straight 6 motor. Whats been happening is that every now and then after i start it the vehicle runs at a rough idle and then after i park it and turn it off then no power to the starter. all ascessories work. Starter is good i replaced that. Coil and CPS were bad i replaced them. But still im getting that issue. Any ideas on what else it could be? Thank You

So I have a couple of sounds coming from my passenger side wheel. 1st off...When I am slowing down I hear a squeeling noise. When i stop at a light the noise stops. When I start driving again I hearcthe squeeling noise again and it gets faster as I speed up. The second noise is when I slow down to stop I hear a clunking sound. It always makes the clunking sound when I got and hit the brake and it usally clunks right before a full stop. Hopefully you can help me out. I appreciate it

I changed my transfer case fluid a few weeks back. After reading up some more, I'm now thinking I might have put the wrong fluid in the transfer case. My buddy who's an Amsoil dealer told me what to use. Is this stuff safe or should I drain it from the TC?
It's labeled Tractor hydraulic-transmission oil sae 5w-30. I haven't had any issues or needed 4wd yet.
