I've been reading a lot about flushing the heater core and there is a lot of talk about burping the cooling system afterwards. There's talk about flushing a lot of different years but if I'm reading it right you only need to burp closed systems. At least one specification site says that coolant systems newer than 90 are all open systems. So if you have a radiator cap then you have an open system and do not need to burp it. Is that correct?

I have since found 4.10 combos for D30/C8.25. I have a D35 rear atm, but plan to swap to a C8.25... Want to re-gear when I do the swap.

seein as how lund visors are damn near impossble to find for our jeeps are there any other vehicles that might fit? like the mid 90's s10's possibly?

Now I've got a 4.2 block with an 87 4.0 head and injection unit/accessories. Now my block is a 78 so its got some wear. Now I have a spare 258 block and was thinking of putting the 4.9 stroker kit in it. Any one have an opinion on this? It will probably be the Hesco kit. Thanks

with a manual I would go 4.10s (maybe 4.56s if you wheel a lot) with a stick if you want to be able to commute it

Hey dukie what do you recommend for my jeep I'm running 33's it's my dd. I wheel it when I can. And it's auto. I have been leaning a lot towards 4.56. Is that to much? Or should I just do 4.11?

4.10s with an auto should be plenty for 33s. Any more and your gas mileage will take a big hit
