Two things: will a 97+ tank work in my 89, with my current fuel pump? And with a t-case drop, do I need to extend any linkages?

Follow this, everything works well..did almost everything off that site to my 88 and it deffinetly made a difference!
Now for my question..what issues can I run into pushing my front axle 2" forward? I have a 3" lift and want to use the JK rear upper control arms. They are 17 3/8" long..thats 1 3/8" over whats recommend for a 3" lift..but what should I know before doing this?

I've been looking at some syes for the 90 xj and from most of the photos I don't see them having a port for the vacuum switch for the front axle. Will the sye have a port for this switch or not? Thanks
