i wouldn't say it's too cool, but it's certainly not optimal. I don't understand why people change to a lower temp thermostat. It doesn't keep your jeep from overheating, it only changes the point that it opens.

OEM is 195 degree - this gives a good balance of fuel economy, good emissions, and performance. If your truck is running lower than that, all three will suffer. Modern FI engines are designed to run hotter.

I'm just getting clicks. The sound is coming from the drivers side near the air box but as I'm doing this by myself it's hard to tell where.

thanks guys!

the clicks are the starter relay telling you it doesn't have enough juice to start the motor.

Get the battery LOAD TESTED at your local auto parts store. If it tests out ok, clean up the grounding points and battery terminals, and check the condition of the thick cable running to the starter

Well I guess I have been misinformed. I will go look at them again. I know they are 16". I'll have to check the spacing. Thanks.

So with all that will the backspacing be a problem.

Okay so you remember how the jeep would run but would shut off when stopped? and sometimes it would have trouble starting? well it wouldn't start at all now. The battery got drained from me constantly trying to start it so i changed the battery. It was turning over great now but then it wouldn't start still... so i did what you said and changed the fuel filter... still won't start... any suggestions?
