Get the battery LOAD TESTED at your local auto parts store. If it tests out ok, clean up the grounding points and battery terminals, and check the condition of the thick cable running to the starter

Thanks. You were correct. i cleaned up the grounds and now she's running just fine!

Start checking grounds and looking for shorts.

I will be putting bpe's in the rear of my rig soon.. Would it be a bad idea to weld them in place?

I will put money on this. Pull out your heater control panel and directly behind the blower switch, it will be melted. Thus causing your short. This is very common in our jeeps. A blown fuse is much better than a jeep fire, right?

I am thinking of making my own motor mounts and I measured the width at 3.25" but can't find any bushings in that size would it work if I used a 3 & 3/16" wide bushing that is 1/16" off or 1.5mm

What? Naa, they are on eBay for like 30 bucks new. There's a thread on here about em with the links. But if I were you I would just take it off and clean it. Takes like and hour and works like new. Plus, it's FREE!!

My right side rear hatch lift fell off so now the hatch won't stay open. You have to like physically lift it and set it on your head while accessing the trunk. It popped back on but now it falls off about every 3-4 times I open it and I pop it back on. I don't know how to actually put it back on and have it stay there.. Anyone??

On the part that fell off, on the end of the piston, there's a thin black ring that goes around the end that compresses and hold it. Too dark to take pic but look and see if you see it. Hope it's a decent description for you
