Over the past few weeks, my lights have been too dim for comfort because the voltage has been low. Not so low that it's harmful to the battery, but low enough to be annoying. It seems to sit around 12 volts instead of up by 14, like I feel it should be. I work at Batteries Plus and have the ability to check my charging system, but that has brought up no red flags. So my question is: where do I start? It's an 89, I know it's all old, but the previous owner claimed it was a newer, lower mileage motor, so one would assume that the alternator would be newer as well. So do I start/go straight to the ECU(voltage regulator)? Or start with the alternator anyway? The more I work on it, the less I begin to think of the shop that did the swap. I want the proper solution, and I want my headlights to actually serve their function again.

So I just purchased a set of 33x10.5r15 bfg all terrains.. I was kinda planning on running them on stock rims? Will they rub bc of the backspacing? Currently I have 33x13.5 super swampers on without rubbing..on a set of Mickey Thompson rims though. If the stock rims will rub, will I be ok with a set of dick cepek dc2 15x8 rims that have 3 5/8 backspacing??? Thanks in advance everyone

I recently picked up a 1988 Jeep Comanche 4x4. Straight 6, 4.0L. Among many other things it is missing the electric fan... My question is where does the fan wiring connect? Mind you, I dont have a fan to look at, im just trying to locate the plug. There is a plug on the thermostat housing that is connected to nothing, but it would have no way of supplying power to the fan. Any help would be appreciated!!

I've got a question. I got the Rusty's 3" lift kit with their hydro shocks. I'm going to be lifting it another 1.5". Was wondering will I need longer shocks? Also, I was planning on relocating the shock mounts on the rear axle to retain original shock travel, but would that even be necessary for just another 1.5"?
