I have a 99 jeep cherokee sport with the 4L fuel injected v6 in it. I left it sitting for a couple days, and now the only way I can get it to start is by giving it gas .But as soon as i let off the gas it dies. I have already replaced the battery, and alternator within the past year and I have full voltage. So please if you have any answers feel free to reply to this message or send me a private message.
Check your EGR valve and vacuum line running to it. I had that same problem on my '88 and it would run fine when giving it gas, but anytime I got up to a stop light/sign, it would die because the idle speed was way low. The EGR valve was my problem.
*Edit: Scratch that... EGR systems were phased out after the Renix systems... Your Inline 6 doesn't have an EGR valve.

Not that I don't trust you and your vast, unlimited knowledge of Jeep 4.0's, but are you sure? I have had to replace mine and it even says on the valve itself that it's an EGR valve.

Scroll down two-thirds of the page and you see a section that talks about it and the EGR solenoid.

Quick question
I am preparing to replace my leaf springs on my 2WD 01 xj. With that being said, what size (length) should the new U-bolts be?

So I recently replaced my leaky heater core. Pita! My heat was crankin' for a while, Now it seems to have cooled down a lot. It's warm now. My rig isn't running hot, do you think I have a clog? Possibly a bad thermostat? It's running perfectly at 210*.

Maybe I should start a thread.
I have ran cleaners and also currently running Lucas Fuel treatment. Also seafoamed the $*@t out of her, through intake mani, gas tank and added to oil before oil change. Also I have done most if not all the standard maintenance stuff. Spark plugs, cap, rotor button, wires (plugs were blackened but otherwise properly worn) ....also some non standard. Cleaned or replaced: TPS, IAC, air temp sensor, MAP....basically every sensor on the intake manifold I have checked (voltmeter) cleaned or replaced. I have checked for vac leaks, I didn't find any - although I may have missed a leak (my vents switch from face to defrost if I give her a little giddy-up.)
