If you've got new components in there, then it depends whether you want more lift for greater articulation or just more clearance. Obviously in the front, the spacers wont make it any more flexy, but you could fit some larger tires. In the rear, add-a-leaf should be fine if it's a new 3" kit. The biggest reason AALs suck is often the existing leaf springs are shot. Another option you have in the rear is extending with shackles. At a certain point the leaf springs aren't going to flex as much as you'd think because when compressed they need to spread out more (get longer). Extended shackles will give the rear room to bend properly as well as add height.

So my jeep seems to be eat'n coolant.. I fill it up, and in a couple days it'll be almost empty. my temperature isn't runnin high, but the coolant resevoir will be almost empty.. havn't really looked into it that much.

Sup guy's. Quick question if anyone can help. Flex plate is Cracked. havn't taken it in to get it looked at by trans repair yet. I know its the issue im having with the noise. But, how hard is it really to replace.. IM really good at taken things apart and putting them back on. i have all the tools too. Help?

i just traded for a preety rough 88 xj. gotta issue with turning, the front end wobbles and i have to fight the wheel, if i give it more power it goes fine but its pretty jerky...this is my DD

Disconnect batt
Remove driveshafts
Remove t case
Remove starter and dust cover
Remove torque converter bolts
Remove trans
Unbolt flexplate

Death wobble? Check all of your steering components for wear and tear, including drag link, tie rod, track bar. Steering stabilizers are the LAST cause but it's always good to check that as well. Check the bushings and tie rod ends on everything

I have a quick and pry stupid question. The bushing on the lower pitman arm on my 89 is destroyed. But the only 4x4 shop near me doesn't know jack. Any help for places to pick one up?? Thanks.
