Engine: 4.0 stroked to 4.6, Thanks to Teasdale'sMachine!
I've had a smittybuilt on my trailer for the last two years and only pulled two Cameros up on it with no problems. It was funny that till I put the winch on the trailer, it seemed like I needed it every week, so I decided to make a plate to use it elsewhere.
Still in progress, need to mount fairlead, and control box.

Has anyone ever seen a stock camshaft snap in the middle? I got a crate engine from Advance auto and disassembled the timing cover to swap the cam and it came out in two pieces! What possibly happened?

Yep. It will also get into the engine bay when you drive while it's raining... there's a giant hole in the front Realistically it shouldn't be a big deal, it's not sealed anyway. The only issues I've read about from some folks is that mods like the LeBaron hood vents can allow water to dump directly on top of sensors and important doodads like your distributor. A bit of seepage around the edge won't hurt anything.

Ok my turn for a question - how much pressure should it take to get the pre-cat O2 sensor off (1999 XJ) that's probably been on there since the dawn of time? Crawled underneath today all pumped to slap the new one in aaaand I can't get the old puppy out. Haynes book warns about thread damage if an impact wrench were used so I'm reluctant to whack my wrench with anything. After applying a certain amount of force though the downpipe starts to flex and I get pretty nervous about busting a seam in my nice new manifold.
Any advice? Should I soak it with PB blaster? lol

Ahh fudge it I'm going with a cowl snorkel like I originally wanted too. It's more useful

You weren't concerned about the flex in your pipe at all?
EDIT: sorry just noticed the "two" statement and the fact that you drive an '01
URGENT
The interior lights won't go off on my 97 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo.
I just got my broken tailgate fixed (it wouldn't open, now it does), and I suspect the repair I had done to the tailgate may have caused this issue.
I can't get it into the shop until tomorrow, is there some way I can turn them off so my battery doesn't die?
