What do they fit? All XJs, all YJs, and I believe all TJs. 15" rim with 5x4.5" bolt pattern is correct. Might wanna freshen them up a bit, though

guys with cut fenders... What did you do with the little bracket thats about tds in the front fenders? One of the bolts for the flair bracket was holding it up no its not held by anything.

Ditched it. Once you cut past that point or even close, The bracket doesn't support much. Or you can bend it up and relocate it even higher, for awhile I had it wedged next to my windshield washer resivoire, but my tires kept snagging it and cutting them... Generally you cut your fenders to clear bigger tires, removing the bracket is part of that process...

XJ, YJ, TJ, LJ, MJ, ZJ, KJ, and KK are all 5x4.5. Those wheels (and most stock wheels from those vehicles) are 15x7, 5.25" BS. Those are probably off a late model XJ or a TJ.

The farthest from the master cylinder, being the 1. passenger rear, then 2. driver rear,3. passenger front,4. driver front.

I tried to search the answer to this but I'm not sure I get it.I have an 88 xj with dana 30 vacuum disconnect I want to replace it If I find a non disconnect with the same gearing is it just a matter of swapping the axles? I'm replacing it not only cuz I've heard they have their issues but the lca bracket on mine is bent and broken after a run in with a rock wall. Any help would be appreciated THKS

If the front diff is in good shape, you can get a block of plate to cover the hole for the vacuum solenoid and replace the two piece "of crap" axle with a solid one piece axle from the J-yard. It probably would be easier than getting a whole new/used axle and swapping it out your the old one. I have also heard that you can put the old vacuum cover back on after you install the solid axle then just seal it up and plug the old vacuum lines to it so if you do a water crossing or drive in heavy rain it will keep out the water.

Most carriers are reinforced under the sheet metal. And the factory/stock XJ one is only good for a 30 inch tire. Anything bigger and it will tear up the sheet metal. I have seen people build a bumper with a trailer axle as a hinge/pivot for a tire carrier. I thought about buying a regular after market heavy duty bumper without the tire carrier and installing the axle hinge and latch to the new bumper. Bumper without tire carrier $250 to $300, one with tire carrier, $800.

If i have a 94 motor in my 88 with the original renix intake (i know po did it) can i skip a step when swapping to the correct intake and go to the 99+?
Edit: also is there anyway of pin pointing the exact year on the motor so i know if he was lying? I know its not renix because of the valve cover and oil filter adapter

96 xj, stock grears in front and back. wondering what a good gear ratio would be for 33 inch tires so i can keep a good speed on the highway but stil be able to tow.
