Another simple question, need help figuring out which pulley is making my jeep sound like it's got a turbo that spooling. How do I go about checking them without ripping everything apart?

I have a 99 xj with cracked head lots of water in the oil the only motor i can find with low miles is out of a 00 with a coil pack set up, would i be able to get rid of that set up and stuff my distributor in there without problems it seems like it would work to me but i would like to know for sure before i spend the money on the engine

If the bottom end is still good just swap the head out. Its way easier.

cabin air filter
Does my 97XJ have a cabin air filter, that needs to be replaced?
If yes, how do I get to this filter?

I already did the head gaske once and didnt realize it was still leaking into the oil its my only vehicle right now so i have been driving a mile to work and back every day for two weeks i just dont want to chance doing all the work then the bearings fail i plan to just replace the engine and rebuild the other while its out i just need to know if i can replace the coil packs with my distributor without too much hasle.
