you looking to see how much lift a truck has?
definitive way is to measure from the top of the axle tube (tube and not linkage) to the bottom of the "frame rail" the rail and again no linkage
front stock is 6.75"
rear stock is 6"
anything more is lift

today i plan on removing the ABS system out of my 89 cherokee i was wondering if there was any complications i should be expecting? im switching from the stock 4 line brake master cylinder to a 2 line. should i still use my four lines and just put a "t" in the brake line connecting the two fronts and the two backs together to fit the new 2 line master cylinder?
Any help is appreciated.

I own a 96 Cherokee, the other day went out shopping, drove around all day and had no problems. that evening i went back out to the jeep and it fired right up only to instantly die. this continues to happen. i was hoping someone could help me with this. after the vehicle dies i hear like a clicking noise coming from down by the shifter, was thinking it is some sort of relay possibly. any ideas would be great.

it's gonna vary man - all lift kits are different and tire tread diameter varies

I'm about to rip out my leaking heater control valve, but wanted to make sure beforehand; which connection at the core (top, bottom) goes to the water pump and which one goes to the t-stat housing? Also, what do you guys use to block off the vacuum hose? Heat shrink tubing?

just follow the path of the existing lines. Imagine the valve as a "+" sign, and imagine that the coolant can not turn corners - it has to pass straight through. So the hose running into the bottom of the "+" connects to the hose running into the top of the "+", and the hoses running into the sides of the "+" connect together as well.
