Think that's bad? I went to Autozone yesterday, and the parts monkey argued with me.
Me: "I need a coolant reservoir for my '88 Jeep Comanche."
Idiot: "I don't see that in my system, so Jeep must not have used a coolant system in '88. That's an old vehicle, things have changed."

Advanced Auto (usually) is much better.

I try not to rely on that parts guy. I will always research what i need ( parts numbers, description, pictures ). So i can be as prepared as possible. I dont like to rely on others.

a) you need to bleed the system better
b) the master or slave is faulty/leaking
c) you didn't hook something up correctly or tight enough, so it can't build pressure.
re-check your work. I'm going with it not being bled enough - the procedure for bleeding these is a bit different than say the brakes. Push the pedal in and hold. Have a freind crack the bleeder valve, with the pedal depressed and close it with the pedal still depressed. After it's closed release the pedal and repeat, that should get her done, internal or external. If you still have issues, pump it like 20-30 times fast to build pressure, hold down, then crack the bleeder. Repeat till just straight fluid comes out.

Have a question my engine has been making a ticking noise ever since I bought it. Which was 3 years ago. Just wondering what it is. goes away if I bring the oil pressure up.... its on the 2.8 by the way

in that case may want to dig deeper into where it's coming from - if it's under the valve cover one of the rockers may be loosening up

My knocking turned out to be a bad wrist pin. I found out after the engine died. Wrist pin broke, piston rod beat the piston to pieces. What was left of it ended up in the oil pan.
