Edit: If you have a NAXJA account: http://naxja.org/forum/showthread.php?t=1013850
I don't have a naxja account. That link came up when I Google it and I don't feel like filling out an internet form on my phone. Lol
Two questions came found reading some info.
Obviously the drive shafts are different lengths. I have sye for a 231 to install with this swap, I was going to use a front ds with it. But wouldn't the manual drive train need a longer shaft in back and shorter front? So I'm thinking now the front Ds on the back may not work maybe I'll try one from a v8 zj?
Second, the ecu. I'm 99% sure its there on the parts car. But if its not. What does it need? As far as Ive read the NSS and possibly the cps. Both of which I could grab, if they're there.
I also understand I need the flex plate and dust covers. So add it to the list.

I haven't had the misfortune yet of a faulty NSS, but is there a sensor or wire that may be bad instead of the NSS itself? I'm not familiar with the system.

dana 30 ?
I'm finally replacing the axle seals in my front end after getting it all apart and the old seals out( the old seals looked pretty good) I notice that where the seals press into there is a rubber seal is this an easy replacement? whats the part called? is it just to keep fluid from going between the outside of the seal and the axle housing? Thanks

In amongst the stuff on http://www.bobistheoilguy.com I found these links. They're obviously not the 4.0L but the same general concepts apply:

In reality you have to address two different problems, the build up of soot, and the oil itself breaking down, in terms of detergents and it's ability to lubricate and protect and maintain the correct viscosity. Basically if you run a good synthetic and a high capacity filter you are *probably* good to run for an extended period, like maybe 6000 miles if your engine is in good shape. Just make sure to check it frequently. Though if you do something back-asswards like run a Fram you should change your oil very frequently regardless of what you dump in or how you drive it. lol
