Np, but def a locker would help you big time, you can get a decent locker in the rear, you jus gotta get use to it. Some people say is you take corners to fast she get out from under you.

And a quick note, many 2wd jeeps with a locked rear have done well with dirt, sand, rocks etc.

Thanks for the tip but haha my other car is a 300zx so I'm accustomed to squirrely rear ends

Hmm maybe I'll just build an axle then slap it in when its ready

So it just now crossed my mind.... im doing an auto swap to replace my blown peugot. I have a 3" lift (have to replace the po's front worn out springs though) so im not very worried about the rear driveshaft but will the front driveshaft be able to compensate, because from what i understand the auto is longer

It might get you by, but I would just get one for an auto.

Hello. I have an 89 cherokee limited, and my dashlights and tail lights do not work. when i put a new fuse in, as soon as i pull out the headlight switch, the fuse blows. also, my dome lights are staying on, even after i turned the jeep off and pushed in the headlight switch.. another thing, when i replaced my ignition switch, the blue harness that plugs into the switch was melted a little bit. also when i start the jeep, my starter stays on and i need to open the hood and ground out the green wire on coming from the starter to turn it off. i have checked all the wiring around the taillights and under the dash and cannot find a short anywhere, and its DRIVING ME NUTS!!! any ideas??? maybe a bad headlight switch?? thank you!!

I'd replace the melted bits for sure.

Im not sure way would cause it to melt, but of there is a short in that melted connector it could be why you are frying fuses.

could that be the cause of all the other problems as well? im certainly no electrician, but im assuming that all these things are running on a circuit through the ignition switch and if there is a short right at the switch then that would be my problem?

Okay guys I gotta replace my leaf spring bushings on rough country 6.5 inch leafs. And I really hate to put another Rc bushing in there! Anyone know if they are a universal size??

You can't get one I don't think, jeep wasn't obd-1 compliant until 1991 and if I'm not mistaken obd-1 scan tools are more than a thousand dollars, so it wouldn't really be practical to buy one

Sorry but the scan tool for our renix injected jeeps are a multimeter
Search the tech write ups one is a link to testing renix systems

Hey so my buddy gave me some coils he had that he never installed cuz,he wreck his jeep but cant remember what size of lift they were for how can I figure out the lift size of these coils ?
