You can get Pro Comp 2.5 inch leafs and put 1 or 1.5 inch shackles at the back. If that is your dark blue XJ in the pick with the rack, your leafs are sagging. The rear is supposed to be a little higher than the front from the factory. Look to see if you have an arch to your springs. If they are flat or almost flat you will want to replace them. XJ's are famous for lousy stock leafs.
If you put a set of AAL's in, the stock long spring will eventually start to bend at the edge of the AAL or shackle eye. The Pro Comp rear leafs are $200 to your door from TruckProUsa and with the 1 or 1.5 shackle you will get 4 inches and a perfect 45 degree shackle angle. Fat Bob's Garage has a budget lift (3 inch front spacers and 2 inch rear shackles) to complement the Pro Comps for $85. Remember, you will need shocks. Even at 3 inches the stock shocks are maxed out. Rough Country Front 8000's ($25) and Jeep MJ comanche rear shocks ($25).

Honestly i dont know what a distributor has to do with anything but ive seen strokers of many models including new chevy ls1s that are distributorless. The main thing is the ecu will have to be retuned so the fuel mapping is right for the stroker

You should definitely change your oil. It gets thinned out by the seafoam. How long since you have done a tune up? Might wanna throw one at it.

Also the map sensor controls the air/fuel mixture which that an be adjustable if you make or buy one

What are your thoughts on performance ignition coils? Like the flamethrower series on quadratec.com? Are they worth it? I'm about to do a tune up on a 99. Getting an accel kit, probably replace the coil too.

Also anyone have the rugged ridge window vent (rain deflectors as they call em)? How do they look? Stick out far?

I would go ahead and service it. Change the oil filters and tune it up. Then you can start your own records. Plus it could help pass inspection.

Ok, so I've been looking for tail light guards and haven't found any anywhere. I keep finding plenty for Grand Cherokees, but none for my 1999 Classic. Can anyone help me? I'm trying to find some heavy duty bar type ones. Not just plastic covers. Thanks in advance!!
