You need shocks that are longer than stock with greater travel. Won't be an OEM part. You'll need to find a shop that can order in parts for suspension lifts or order them yourself.

suspension system and lifts are supported by the springs and shocks. Whatever lift size you decide to go with, if you buy a lift kit will come with the correct size shocks. Stock shocks are something you want to generally upgrade if you want lift an just because these trucks are old and many of us are pushing 200k. We've been sitting on the same shocks for many years. New shocks will give you a smoother ride and I'd suggest new bushings as well. You'll ride like a cadi. I hope that helps some.

Since you apparently dont want anyones help from here go elsewhere. What we are trying to tell you is that you can't just go to the parts counter and tell them you need shocks for a 3" lifted xj because they aren't gonna know what to get. You need to order shocks either online or from a shop that deals with lifted vehicles. But go ahead and ask your question some other place, try pirate4x4. Im SURE they can help you.
