So I think I ****ed up. I was putting my new head on after cracking the first one. And I used permatex ultra black rtv sealant between the block and the head gasket and again between the head gasket and the head. Now I friend of mine is telling I should have just used the gasket because it will just blow out. Is it really bad to use that or will I be ok? I've been reading all over the place and people seem to be using it. But I not sure. I don't want to do it wrong, but I also do want to undo 9 hours of work.
Any helps would be nice. Thanks!

what material is the gasket made of?
some of them don't need it and some suggest it.
I don't see a problem using ultra black as long as its on nice and thin and even.
I've only ever really used it to stick and position gaskets, ya know what i mean.

Which wheels are better? The only reason I'm thinking the cragars is because they have more backspacing. http://m.summitracing.com/parts/CRR-3975812

I'm not sure, its not metal its that fabricy plastic one lol. I just remembered a thermostat gasket made of the same material needed some RTV with it so I assumed it need it on the head gasket to. It is a felpro head gasket. The first later was a bit thick but we pressed the gasket down and scrapped anything oozing out off, then the second layer was thinner so it didn't use onto the pistons. The surface was very clean I spent a half hour cleaning it with brake cleaner and a knife.
