Any helps would be nice. Thanks!
I've rebuilt several engines, and replaced several head gaskets on other engines. Just make sure both the block and head are cleaned thoroughly, then install the gasket dry with new bolts or studs that have been cleaned & lightly oiled so you get an accurate torque reading. I've never had a leak.
I've heard of some people using Permatex copper spray on metal head gaskets, but nothing on regular gaskets. It can cause problems by getting into the water jackets and oil passages.

Using the diagram below as an example, the black hoses are vacuum hoses, and the hoses that look white are for vapor or air. You simply follow the hose from the item you're checking to the other end. Don't look at the whole picture, just the hose you need to follow. Like anything, it takes practice.

Really they don't sell replacement bushings for the LCA's they sell.

Sounds crappy to me and I like Rough Country. I would call them back then and ask who makes theirs so you can know the company to call.

Then complain some more they may give you a new set all together lol.

Glad to be of help.
I saw in your Profile what it stated you have. On Google I entered '85 Cherokee 2.5L Vacuum Diagram. That's what came up.
Haynes doesn't always have the best/most accurate info. You really need a Factory Service Manual.

I hear you my Hayes and child have a lit of holes. Been trying to find a fsm but no luck so far...

I still don't understand what all of the abreviatons and letters mean any ideas where I could find a listing of what the stand for?
Thanks again

Sorry, I don't have one for an '85. If I find it I'll let you know.

As for the abbreviations, look this over. >-> Acronyms
