So i went to try an install the renix temp sensor in my ho block....i found two plugs one behind the motor mount (thats the location on my xj renix block) and another about 8-12 inches further toward the firewall. I had no luck with either one just couldnt bust em loose. So my question is this are both these plug areas viable spots (threads the same) for the temp sensor? If so i'll take it to a shop and have them install it in the easier plug location

I think either one would work.

Yep. Thanks. I just figures theyd charge me out the rear for installing it in the plug hole behind the motor mount. I havent entirely decided what to do yet. Its my daily so it cant be down but its running like crap once it warms up

I'd think the other location shown would work just as well, as it's also in the water jacket in the same general area.

i know t is going to look goofy but she wants it to be lifted i am thinking of going ahead and putting in the 4w4 first what u think i have never done it on a jeep did it to a firebird once never again.
I have a 1994 Jeep Cherokee and I need a driver's seat. I've looked everywhere for one and cannot find one anywhere. I was wondering if any other Jeep models had a seat that would be compatable.

Welcome to CF. You can put the lift kit on a 2WD now. You can add the 4WD parts later. The only difference is you have a straight axle in front without any gears in it. The spring and control arm mounting points are the same for both the dummy 2WD axle and live 4WD front axles.

You can use what she has. It came with a beam axle that connects the steering knuckles but has no gears (dummy axle). 2WD dummy front axles, and 4X4 live front axles use the same mounting points in the exact same way. So a lift kit for a 4X4 will work on a 2WD.
