He doesn't have 25 posts yet. Not sure if he can post in Wanted. The other reason he isn't getting hits is cause he only waited 5 minutes to post again. And also because most people don't do a rad swap til something breaks, and that's too late to sell it.

Did a lift a while back and Pulled out of the driveway to notice that the electric fan stayed on, but the thing drove with no issues. Fixed the fan issue but then another thing sprouted up. When I put it in reverse it's like im riding th brake a little bit. I can tell that something is holding on that isn't supposed to be holding on. Then I throw it in drive and it drives awesome. Once I figured out there was an issue I had to leave the island for two months so I'm just getting around to trying to get it fixed. Anyone had anything like this happen before? Or have any ideas whats going on?

You'll need a second person while checking all hoses. Lift the wheel, pump-up the brake pressure then, after releasing brake pedal, try to spin the wheel. It should be easily turned almost immediately (some delay should be expected with brake release). If you cannot easily turn the wheel under test for some period after pedal release then you may have found a bad brake hose. Hope this helps.
i have concluded that i am not an electrician...lol seriously though 88xj converted to 89 limited. i have eliminated evry wiring issue now to the components, it has to be the cps because i am reading no power out of coil and have no fuel. tried fuel pump on toggle switch and push button start but still no go any thoughts? thanx

Too small of a question to make a new thread. I've found several cherokee engines in my price range searching craigslist, ebay, etc. But what kind of things should I look at before I decide which one to buy?

Ideally you want a 97-99 engine for a direct swap, and make sure it came out of a truck with the same transmission (auto or manual)

Also thinking about just rebuilding my blown engine (bent rod, will also check the rest of it) my dad saw some engine rebuild kits (Recommendations or are they mostly the same?) Although I will need to buy a new transmission(any years to stay away from?)
I don't think these are answered regularly but I can definatly do more research if they are

Hissing AC Controls, vacuum leak?
Ripped out my AC a while back (Compressor, Condenser and Hoses, did I miss something else that can be taken out?) and I have light hissing coming from what sounds like the ac controls on the dash. Is there some line that needs to be plugged?

I have a speedometer / cruise control and idling question
87, 4.0 auto; 200k. Upon initial start, runs smooth for about 15 seconds, then begins to idle rough and will die if the throttled is not feathered. This will last for a few seconds, then will run perfectly. This happens every start, even when fully warmed up. It's like it's trying to find the proper air fuel mixture.
Was 4 wheeling last weekend, the speedometer and cruise control both stopped working. Check connection in back of dash to start?
Thanks!
