head unit is easy - just grab an install kit and wiring adapter so you can just plug it into the factory harness.
Speakers are easily up-gradable also. Stock your jeep has 5.25" speakers. Any aftermarket 5.25" speaker will just plug and play.
I personally stuck 6.5" speakers in my doors and rear soundbar - fitting them was easy in the soundbar (just a little trimming), but the doors took a lot of creative "massaging" to get them to fit.

Look like a good set up?

Just FYI, thats an OK setup.....I have an alpine head unit and Polk speakers. Both the best you can get IMO. Not the best "system", but best stock replacement by far.

Ok. And about how much did that cost? I'm a little tight this summer as I'm saving up so I can pay for my next semester at GMU this fall.

But alpine only makes head units, so they make sure they focus all there attention to head units. Polk only makes speakers, so the same is true for them.

And BTW, Alpine's website shows that they make speakers as well as head units. So is this a new thing for them, or are the speakers made by someone and they put their logo on it?

I usually don't do sound/audio work, but I'm looking to upgrade my broken stuff now. I didn't know and Trev1006 told me they only made head units.
