He has a 2000 XJ - they moved the fuel filter in to the tank in '95 or '96. In fact the fuel pressure regulator, check valve, pump, sending unit, and filter are one combined module of fun and excitement

You so when our newer jeeps have fuel system issue it's dropping the tank and spending hundreds on OEM parts.
Also heard that aftermarket units will turn the gas light on later and you wont have that 1 gal emergency left at the bottom. Heard Chevys have this issue ny sure of its the same on our xjs

yea lol i just finished dropping it... only took 2 hours. ran into an issue with the hose clamps, the rings where facing up not down -.- but i shall take the tank apart monday and hopefully find that the fuel filter or pump was the issue (fingers crossed)

Thanks. I tried the leads both ways. No change. My guess is the tcu or ecm due to the fact that those are related to the tps. but i don't know how to troubleshoot it.

The cable jacket has a plastic grommet that snaps into the backing plate. In this pic there's a braided guard around the cable in the brake assembly. The little crimped on nub fits into a bracket down there
Naaasty. If you end up replacing anything avoid AirTex pumps. High rate of failure in the XJ

I tried the leads both ways. No change. My guess is the engine or trans computer since they are connected. But i don't know how to test for that. Any one with ideas?

Hello fellow jeepers, Got a question for you all. I am trying to replace the clutch packs in my 29 spline Chrysler 8.25. I can not figure out how to get the actual packs out of the carrier. Has anybody done this? any advice?

So let's just say I hate doing distributors but don't take any work to a shop.that being said I have to replace the ho distributor they left in the ho block when they did the swap to my 88mj with a renix one. Any tips our tricks on what not to do. Since these are non adjustable I'd like to do it right the first time
