sorry to bump but!

i have a 89 jeep cherokee that one of the PO removed all of the a/c components in front of the firewall(except compressor which I'm sure is bad) can i go to a junkyard and grab everything i need from a newer model, with the r-132a type refrigerant, and put it in mine? id also need a brand new accumulator so id buy one for the newer cherokee correct?

thanks!

Different weights are generally for the rear axle when doing a lot of towing (like 85W140). Front you can fill up with any decent 75W90 API-GL5 oil. This may differ if you have a locker installed, and if you have a Limited Slip Differential. Though I guess if you were going to disconnect the rear drive shaft and go FWD you could run the heavier in the front... lol

I am talking about the noise I am hearing when I spin the water pump by hand, did you watch this? http://youtu.be/AgXgyfl18sU

The noise it make when it is put back together is the typical chirping pulley noise, I will post a video of it later on.

power steering will not set off an engine code.

Take it to your local auto parts store and have them plug it in and pull the code

Is there a set PSI for fuel pressure when the fuel pump primes the motor? I have found at idle its to be 47 to 52 PSI.
