the clutch is brand new it has less then 200 miles on it we cant seem to get it to completely engage and disengage so we move the pedal forward and it solved the problem until yesterday when the slave cylinder blew out. im looking for a solution at the pedal because the clutch pressure plate fly wheel master cylinder and slave cylinder are all new

Motor/Tranny swap from '93 XJ to an '86 XJ
So while I was out of town for work, my wife and son bought a '93 XJ. Luckily they only paid $500 for it. But it's a complete POS! The only salvageable things about it are the motor and trans. I found a '86 with a bad motor that I can pick up cheap. It currently has a 4 cyl & 4 spd manual trans. Can I drop the 4.0 L and auto trans from the '93 into this '86? I can turn a wrench, but after doing some checking I've found that in 1986 Cherokees came with the 4 cyl or a V-6.
