Went to the jy to get some 784s, none there... again.

But I snagged a driver side power heated mirror. I want heated mirrors in the winter. Still gotta get a passenger one.

It looks like the wire harness plugs into the same one. But how does the heat work? Does it come on when I hit rear defroster button or what? I didn't see a mirror defrost button...

Splice it into the heater switch, so when your heat is on the mirrors will be on

Is that how they work stock? I have power mirrors already and they look like the same plug.

I don't want to do that because I run my heat the whole time I'm driving. I won't need the mirrors defrosting the whole time.
