Meh, that's the way i'll do it when i get the funds. Already got a gaping hole in my head liner from my remote locks that never worked.

I just use it to hold my handheld CB and a peice of my dad's Durango i was in when we wrecked it. I feel like it's a lucky charm since none of us were hurt.

Ok so i have a few questions and concerns and i have been searching but cant find anything that answers my question.. So hopefully someone here can help and i dont get ridiculed for an oil question... I recently changed my oil in my 88 xj.. 4.0 200k miles.. I wanted to try a high mileage oil so i went with some castrol gtx high mileage 10w30.. So with this oil change i seem to have developed some piston slap.. Maybe it was there before and i just didnt notice but i dont know. It does go away when up to temperature... Also today it was feeling a little sluggish.. Could i have done harm by trying high mileage oil at such high mileage? Can i switch back to just conventional oil after useing the hm oil? Should i drain it and put conventional back in? Any help would be appreciated

Did you use a Fram oil filter? The oil before might have just been a different viscosity.

No ive read to stay away from fram.. I went with a purolator pure one and found a post someone where someone had experienced piston slap with them,, so i went and grabbed just a standard purolator and swapped it out.. The auto store closest has a crappy selection of filters for my vintage.. I did want to go with a mopar filter but they didnt have it

Big Bad Baz--- I have a 1995 Cherokee Sport. It came stock with one of those POS, worthless doughnut tires attached to a bracket on the driver's side rear cargo area. Is this the kind of bracket you want? That worthless doughnut tire was the first thing I ditched, but I still have it and the bracket too. If this is the one you want, I'll sell you both or either, cheap. Getting the bracket out of my Jeep might be a PITA, I don't know. I live in Houston. Where are you?

On my list of projects is a DIY welded, bumper-mounted tire swing, but for now my spare 31x10.50-15 is taking up a bunch of space in the cargo area.
