New to this site (and computers really). Not sure if this is where I can ask questions or not. Help and guidance would be much appreciated. Problem is (among other things) I'm using an "Auto Xray ez read 2000" and getting code 54 which states 'no fuel sync or high data rate signal detected during engine rotation" which does not match what I've seen in other code lists which say "camshaft sync/distributor". What gives? I'm in a major bind and need serious help, please. Thank you in advance, usssanjacinto.

You can also test the clutch by getting the jeep to operating temperature, open the hood, and have someone turn the jeep off while you watch the fan. Sorry, '92 2dr 4wd xj laredo 4.0 ax15. Went to store last night, came back out and it wouldn't start. The night before when rolling into the gas station it kinda coughed once and died but started immediately, now this!

My a/c compressor in my 1988 Cherokee 4.0 keeps disengaging while driving. It will start to blow warm, I'll turn it off, a half mile later turn it back on an ad it starts blowing cold again. What could it be?
