Inspector told me I needed to replace rear lower radius arm bushings on my stock '91. I am having a tough time finding some one who sells just the radius arm bushing. When I search for them it seems to always direct me back to control arm bushings.
Q1) Are the two 'arms' the same thing?
Q2) Where is a good place to pick up little suspension parts without having to replace the entire arm?
I am sure I will have a lot more things to ask but this is where I am starting.
Thanks in advance!

You can find new bushings pretty easy. There are kits that come with all the bushings in your xj. Or you can just get the bushings you need.

As he said, there is no rear radius arm. Our XJs don't use a setup even remotely similar to that. Ask him to point out exactly what it needs, and show us a picture. Somebody can usually help out.
EDIT: Just noticed this is post #5000. Go me!

re: Radius vs. control arm
BHeath, thanks for the response.
I am actually partly to blame for mis-stating my question.
He was referring to the front suspension but was showing me the lower rear bushing to what is obviously a control arm not a radius arm [based upon the rest of your reply].
I appreciate the response as it confirmed y suspicions.
Is there a good quality brand name for bushings that is also reasonably priced?
The whole thing is brand new to me but I am too broke to have others do any work. I am trying to pick up just a small list of pieces to get the vehicle in good shape before I go down for a spinal fusion in a few weeks.
I need to get rear bump stops, the bushing my original question came from and rear sway bar bushings.
Thanks again for the quick help.
