Hey y'all lol
Would this, copied from a CL ad
"231 J transfer case and transmission (AW4) out of 1997 jeep grand cherokee 4.0 L. 4x4 $150 obo"
Fit in my 91 xj 4.0 aw4 with 242 I want a 231 in there... will the tcase work? Will the trans work? Don't really care about the trans. It would just be a spare if I got it.

Tire Replacement
Another rookie question but my 91 XJ has 225/75-15 tires on that are toast.
I looked on Tirerack to see the size the jeep should have and they state 195/75-15 or 205/75-15.
I've been looking on CL to find a cheap used set as I am on disabilty and see a lot of similar sizes like a 235/75-15 and 235/70-15 mounted on jeep rims.
As I have some a surgery ahead I am just trying to get some tires on the truck to get my family through winter/snow etc, no off roading.
Question is what sizes should I stick to? and what size could I push to if I found the deal of deals without messing the truck up?
Thanks in advance

"Any of the sizes you mentioned will work. A 215 up to a 235 or 30 will fit just fine on stock jeep rims."
Thanks for the help!!

I have a 1994 Cherokee Sport 4.0. The steering is blocky, it feels as if a gear is oval instead of round or something like that. Its tough to turn for a couple inches, then it get easy to turn, then tough again, etc... I've searched the tech section but did not see any "steering" issue threads that sounds like this. Any help??

Sorry but one more question on the tires
"A 215 up to a 235 or 30 will fit just fine on stock jeep rims."
With the 30's what are the possibilities as far as the width?
I have what I assume to be stock 91 rims.
So 30 x ? x15
I have no way of measuring the width of the rims I have until a tire is removed.
Sorry for the level of my questions

OK.
How would I go about taking apart and cleaning some 784 injectors? And possibly putting in new filter screen things? Links?
If I don't take them apart I heard that soaking them in sea foam help, but what about the electric connections? Are those OK to soak too? Or just rig em up to sit halfway (or whatever) in it? How long can they stay in the seafoam?
Thanks.
