Just a note - you can fit up to a 235/75R15 on a stock XJ with no trimming or rubbing. Looks mint too.

I have what I assume to be stock 91 rims.

30's are usually 9.5" wide... stock rims are 15x7 on a XJ so going with 235's will be golden for you... More popular than 30's anyway. 70 or 75 wide will be fine

My AC compressor pulley is on its way out and I'm away from home. That being said, until I return home I'm just gonna put the no AC pulley in place of the compressor. Once I have the freon removed, can I just remove the compressor or is there more that needs to happen? I'm 600+ miles from home so.........yeah..all advice is appreciated

Napa took the ac delete back this morning, gave me all my money back after 3 months, so that's good.

When you get the ac delete make sure it lines up properly, I just went through hell tracking down a chirp so I got one and it didn't line up, just added to my problems.

My head unit has pretty much always had problems staying on. It'll be on and then it looses power and cuts off and I have to turn it back on. I can't seem to notice a pattern to it either... It'll cut off on bumpy roads, smooth roads, when I'm accelerating, when I'm braking when I'm coasting... I'm not sure if it's the head unit, or the wiring. Anybody had this problem?

Have you checked connections maybe spray them with electrical cleaner??

How tight should I tighten bolts from fan to new fan clutch?
Tried to tighten 1 of 4 bolts to 10 ft lbs and tightenening failed with stripped fan clutch thteads. Fan clutch product specs call for 15 to 18 ft lbs. Picking up replacement Imperial fan clutch from Advance Auto this morning.
Used new correct bolts as specified by product. Never had problems with torque wrench before.

Thanks in advance. Considering tightening to snug and using "red" permant loctite on threads

Use loctite, installed a fan once tourqed everything,.. 5 min after running fan came off, ever since used loctite w no problems

Thread locker couldn't hurt. But I've always just snugged em down hand tight, alternating bolts til they're all tight. No problems here.
