I'm imagining the metallic copper falls into pretty expensive? Lol

What color was yours? And honestly, I don't know how much paint I would need to spray whole xj. Was two quarts enough? I'm in beginning stages of research. Lol. I wanna get the tools to spray right. I see many paint jobs in my future.

Two quarts is what I bought to paint the hood fenders and bumper. I still haven't got them painted yet though it's all sitting in my garge. My color is patriot blue metallic, I think the metallic colors are more expensive.

Ah. So probably around $300 in paint for whole jeep. Maybe 250 if I do under hood, etc black. Lol

That's not too bad. I'll have to Google around...

That's patriot blue right?

My lady likes blue, and I'd like that but I want something less subtle for the off roader. She prolly wouldn't go for that copper anyways... damn.

Yea that's the color of mine. If you want an exact price I think that the paint code is pbm it's a 1999 color. Call your local auto body supply shop and ask how much it will be.

I have been looking at a Jasper Reman 4.0L on cl for $600, 20,000 miles on it from a '92. Mine has been smoking for years and would like to replace it soon. Is this worth it? Anyone have any experience with Jasper? Would there be any issues putting this in my '94?

meant to bump this earlier post. Anyone have any comments or pointers? I want to make sure this will actually work before running wires.

Here are my original questions that go along with the diagram...

I知 no electrician, but I have a fair grasp of the concepts involved (I think) and have drawn up a wiring diagram of what I think it will take to get it done. I would have inserted/attached it here but I couldn稚 figure out how (forgot to mention I知 a complete noob to threads).

What I知 hoping is that there is someone out there who knows automotive electrical and would be willing to take a look at my diagram and let me know if it will work, safely, and as intended. If you can help, please let me know and I値l email you the diagram.

In the meantime I知 also looking for answers to the following related questions:

What fuse (and how) would you tap into to get "always on" power to new switches (power even when ignition is off)?

What fuse (and how) would you tap into to get "accessory" power new switches (power only when ignition is on)?

What fuse (and how) would you tap into to get power to new switches only when headlights and/or parking lights are on?

Is it possible to add 4 relays & 4 fuses inside the factory Power Distribution Center under the hood? And if so; how would it be done?

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated

BTW - My Jeep is a 94 Cherokee SE 2 door, 4.0, automatic, 4WD (I don't know if any of that is needed information for my questions, but thought I would throw it out there just in case.)

Thanks

I have no idea how they are with other engines but several people I know have used their small block chevys with good results

I'm pretty good with electrical and what you have here looks fine. Just make sure you fuse everything and run good grounds and insulate everything... You should be fine.

ok this is a stupid question but just want to make sure. i installed my 4.5 lift today and the front axle sits towards the firewall a bit. i assume the alignment will fix that? just the caster adjustment right?
