I have a 99 XJ I got off of Craigslist for $600 I've allready put about $400 into it. I'm savin up fir a 4.5 lift from rough country and I wanna know if i'm gonna need anything else with for Example a drive shaft extender or brake line extenders. I found the kit with the coils, shocks, add-a-Leaf, controls arms and shackles and the bolts and u bolts and stuff. Will i need to get anything else? Thanks Michael.

No ac expansion valve?
FYI: Went on the 4 seasons website. http://www.4s.com/ROOT-Home1/Content.aspx Found the capacity guide for the ester/ peg oil for the 4 seasons compressor if anyone is interested. http://www.pageturnpro.com/Four-Seas.../index.html#/1
states 8 ounces., viscosity 100
I'm replacing ac parts, (still waiting for them to arrive). I saw on some sites they suggest replacing the expansion valve when replacing the compressor.
I don't think my 2000 xj sport 4.0 has an expansion valve. Looks like the orifice pipe/tube goes right into the wall. Tried googling online parts stores and they don't show an exp. valve, for my vehicle.
Can anyone verify that there is or isn't supposed to be an ac expansion valve on a 2000 xj 4.0?
thanks
Mike

Not trying to start anything, but this is the "Ask a question" thread. Why would it need to be moved?

I'd say that's likely. I had read before that the Accusound option was only for Renix Jeeps, but now I'm reading that it was available '87-92 and again '98-01. Originally, it was from Jenson, then Infinity the second time around. Still seems like the years would more likely be '87-90 and '97-01, but I can't confirm that since the two sources I've found are conflicting.
